The new Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc is a super slim Android smartphone with just 8.7mm thickness and a 4.2-inch capacitive touch screen. The 4.2-inch Reality display is using Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine, supports multi-touch, 854 x 480 pixels and 16M colors. Launching with the latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread, it will be available globally this quarter in Midnight Blue and Misty Silver color. Check out SlashGear later for a live hands on!
Another notable feature is its 8.1 megapixel camera module. Using the Exmor R camera sensor, its f/2.4 lens allows better photography in low light condition. It can record 720p HD video, assisted with video stabilizer and the flash LED as video light.
